Our holiday home was built at the beginning to the middle of the last century. I bought it in 2004 and renovated it thoroughly: some unsightly extensions were demolished, the house got the necessary improvements in terms of earthquake protection and then a new roof and a new extension. The terraces were expanded and then, of course, the electricity, water and sewage system were completely renewed.

After living in the house myself for a few years, it has been available for short-term stays since 2011. Since then, the "Casa do Alemão" and its facilities have been constantly improved to ensure maximum comfort for summer holidays, hiking holidays or family holidays on the Azores island of Terceira. No matter whether families or singles, people seeking peace and quiet or active holidaymakers… every guest is welcome!
