The Casa do Alemão - English translation: "House of the German" - was completely restored in 2004/2005. Why we gave the house this name, you can surely imagine... The second holiday house is simply called Casa do Vizinho ("House of the Neighbour"). It is in the direct vicinity of Casa do Alemão and since this beautiful old house had been standing empty for several years, we bought it without further ado and lovingly restored it. Since summer 2016, the Casa do Vizinho is also available for rent. Both houses are located above the centre of Porto Judeu. From there you have a wonderful view of the Atlantic. The centre of the village is only a few minutes' walk away - there are cafés, restaurants, a pharmacy, a small supermarket and other shops. The nearest bathing bay is also not far away. There is a bus stop right on the street with several daily connections to Angra do Heroísmo or Praia da Vitoria.
